Jena Wuu

Jena Wuu is a writer, speaker, teacher, and advisor on how trust and expertise are evolving online. Her work focuses on helping institutions and subject matter experts that serve the public – in fields like medicine, science, government, and civil service – participate online with rigor and intention.  

At Meta, she founded and led the company's global information ecosystem program, partnering with governments, UN agencies, universities, and NGOs to bring credible public health, science, and civic information to over two billion people worldwide during COVID-19, the war in Ukraine, natural disasters, and elections.

Today, Jena writes Feed for Thought, a newsletter exploring how trust and expertise are evolving online. Through her advisory and teaching, Jena also helps institutions and experts figure out how they want to opt in to the digital ecosystem.

Michelle Ciulla Lipkin

Michelle Ciulla Lipkin is a globally recognized leader in media literacy education. She is an Adjunct Lecturer at City University of New York where she teaches Media Literacy and works as an independent contractor creating curricular materials, resources, and conducting workshops. She currently partners with the National Association for Media Literacy Education, Blueshift Education, ConnectED, and others on advancing media literacy education around the U.S. and beyond. Michelle serves on the advisory board of Life Stories and Truth in Common. 

Michelle worked as Executive Director of the National Association for Media Literacy Education from 2012 – 2025. During her tenure, Michelle founded U.S. Media Literacy Week, the National Media Literacy Alliance, and raised over $5 million. 

Michelle was the recipient of the 2020 Global Media and Information Literacy Award given by UNESCO. Michelle holds her undergraduate and graduate degrees from New York University.
